Event Description

Join us for a unique hiking experience that combines the tranquility of nature with the power of poetry. This special hike is designed to inspire creativity, reflection, and connection with the natural world.

We’ll start a brief introduction to poetry on the trails at CFPA headquarters, followed by a hike through Highlawn Trails. As we traverse scenic trails and immerse ourselves in the sights, sounds, and scents of the wilderness, we’ll pause at designated spots to appreciate the beauty around us and engage in poetry writing and reading. Whether you’re an aspiring poet or simply someone who appreciates the magic of words, this event offers a refreshing opportunity to find inspiration in nature’s splendor.

No prior hiking or poetry experience is necessary—all skill levels are welcome!

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Water bottle
  • A notebook and writing utensils
  • You’re favorite poet or poem!

Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today!
