Event Description
This 5.2 mile loop hike will cover a section of the blue-blazed Mattabesett Trail and conclude along a woods road. This is a moderate hike with much variety, including pine studded ledge overlooks to the east, north and west, an enormous glacial boulder, a babbling brook in a ravine, and a scenic pond. There are some challenging accents and descents, but no hand scrambles. The total elevation gain is approximately 900′.
