Details

The Tunxis Trail has been relocated where it crosses Rt 219 in Barkhamsted. The trail now crosses Rt 219 at the intersection with Hillcrest Dr. The trailhead parking area on Rt 219 has been deemed unsafe because of the sightlines, the speed of traffic, and the guardrail that hikers have to climb over. A new map will be posted shortly. Please follow the blue blazes.
