Ants are tiny marvels of nature that play an important role in maintaining the balance of ecosystems, offering surprising benefits to our forests. Join Master Naturalist Lynn Kochiss for an easy-paced walk of 1½-2 miles to learn more about these amazing creatures and see what they have been up to at Highlawn Forest. Dress for the weather and possible wet trails.
This walk is part of the Nature’s Tiny Heroes Series, a collaboration between CFPA and the East Hampton Senior Center. You are invite to attend either or both Ants Programs.
