Description
Join the Nature Nerds for a 4 mile loop hike at Bolton Notch State Park. This moderate hike will take us on the Garnet Trail to Flag Rock, the Mohegan Trail, and parts of Hop River Trail State Park, the blue-blazed Shenipsit Trail, Freya Park and the Box Mountain Forest. This is a moderate hike with a few difficult sections that include a rock scramble, walking near a high ledge, and some short, steep sections. Trail shoes with a good grip are a must. Please bring water and a snack. Hiking poles can be helpful.
