Event Description

Autumn leaves are vital to the health of a forest.  They provide nutrients to the soil, protect plant root systems, and are shelter for overwintering insects, reptiles and amphibians. Join Master Naturalist Lynn Kochiss for an easy-paced 1-2 mile walk to discover what is hiding in the leaf litter along the trails

This free event is sponsored by CFPA in collaboration with the East Hampton Senior Center.

It is a follow-up to Save Your Leaves for the Insects Part 1- An Introduction, on September 2nd. We invite you to sign up separately to attend either or both Leaf events.

Registration is limited, so sign up early. Dress for the weather and possible wet trails.
Extreme weather cancels.
