Description
Learn all about chainsaw safety with Tom Worthley at this all-day workshop. You will learn the basics for safe and efficient chainsaw operation from someone who has been working and teaching in the woods for decades. Thomas Worthley is the forester at the UConn Cooperative Extension.
Bring a lunch, snack, and water. Dress for the weather and wear work boots or sturdy shoes. You can bring a saw and PPE if you like, but Tom will have those things available.
Tom is generously offering this same class twice. Once in November, once in March. Please only sign up for one of the classes.
