Autumn colors are here, so lets take a closer look at the trees that create such amazing color!

Join CFPA’s Education Assistant, Julia Sonen, for a walk and talk focused on Connecticut’s amazing trees. Starting from the banks of the Farmington River, we will make our way up the Tunxis Blue Trail and see how the forest compositon changes. Both absolute beginners and those with some experience will enjoy this walk.

Please be prepared to walk 1+ miles over uneven terrain with some elevation change, and bring water and any snacks you might need.  Sunscreen, long sleeves, good hiking boots and a hat are always suggested.

Well-behaved and leashed dogs are welcome.
