“Where the Hill Meets the Sky”
The Friends of Auerfarm State Park Scenic Reserve (FASR) invite you to participate in our 2023 photo contest. Everyone is welcome!
Showcase your visit by submitting photos of the beautiful landscape at Auerfarm State Park Scenic Reserve. Photos can include images of friends, family, pets or the beautiful Reserve landscape.
Location: All photos must be taken at Auerfarm State Park Scenic Reserve. View the map below (the Reserve is shaded in green) or on the bulletin board (at the parking area) for Reserve boundaries.
Images: Contest photos may be black & white, color, manipulated, or non-manipulated. Photos must be submitted in .jpg, .jpeg, .pdf, or .gif format, 150-300 ppi, maximum 1,200 pixels wide, and no larger than 5 MB. An example of a pet photo with the Reserve in the background is shown below:
Submission Dates: October 1, 2023 to January 15, 2024. Each individual may submit up to three photos via the form that follows.
Judging: The winner will be selected by a panel of independent judges.
Announcements and Prizes: The winner will be notified by the email provided by January 25th, 2024. Additionally, it will be announced on the Friends of Auerfarm Scenic Reserve Facebook page. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place images as REI gift cards in the respective amounts of $100, $50, and $25.
