Details

The gap in the Tunxis Mainline Trail between Johnnycake Mountain and Rock Road in Burlington has been eliminated. In the northbound direction, the 2.7-mile relocation takes the trail east on the Tunxis Blue/White Trail across Rte 69 and Whigville Brook to a ridge, where it leaves the Blue/White Trail. The trail continues north, gradually descending to Whigville Brook, re-crosses Rte 69, and heads west to rejoin the existing mainline trail south of Rock Rd.
