SUMMARY:Nature Nerds Hike - Crescent Lake Loop and Bradley Mountain
DESCRIPTION:About This Hike\nThis 3-mile hike will go around Crescent Lake with an out-and-back to Bradley Mountain.  Part of the hike will be along the Metacomet Trail with beautiful views of the lake from a scenic lookout. This is a moderate hike with some 562’ of ascent and roots and rocks underfoot. No dogs\, please. \nYour hike leader: Renee Smith is a nature enthusiast who hopes to spread the love! Nature Nerd Hikes are an opportunity to explore the woods while employing all our senses\, trigger curiosity\, share and seek knowledge\, and nourish our souls in the great outdoors. WFR certified. Visit her trail blog at www.trailtalk.org. \nWhat to Bring \nSturdy footwear with good traction\, water\, a snack\, and weather-appropriate layers. A charged phone\, hat\, sunscreen\, bug spray\, and trekking poles are also recommended. During fall and spring hunting seasons\, please wear blaze orange. \nWeather & Cancellation Policy \nHikes go on in light rain or cool weather\, so dress for the conditions. We’ll cancel for unsafe conditions like thunderstorms\, heavy rain\, ice\, high winds\, or extreme heat or cold\, and we’ll email registered participants as early as possible.
