SUMMARY:Nature Nerds Hike - Chatfield Trail Loop
DESCRIPTION:Join the Nature Nerds for this 3 mile moderate loop hike featuring some dramatic rock cliffs overlooking Forster Pond\, some cool glacial erratics\, and a fun scramble through a rock “cave” overhang (alternate routes are possible).  There are a few short\, steep scramble sections. Closed-toe shoes with a good grip are a must. Water is essential\, snacks are a plus.  Hiking poles can be helpful. \nRenee Smith is a nature enthusiast who hopes to spread the love! Nature Nerd Hikes are an opportunity to explore the woods while employing all our senses\, trigger curiosity\, share and seek knowledge\, and nourish our souls in the great outdoors. WFR certified.
