Event Description

Come to the James L. Goodwin conservation center to partake in a fun program for all ages. Most macroinvertebrate are interesting aquatic insects that help break down plant matter, and they are found everywhere! Join Naturalist, Adam Drouin, to learn about the anatomy and importance of these insects in the environment. We will locate some aquatic macroinvertebrates, then collect them with nets to examine their anatomy, behaviors, and use them to make assumptions on water quality. Registration required.
