SUMMARY:Mindfulness Bird-nature hike at Earle Park in Glastonbury
DESCRIPTION:A slow-paced walk along trails with some hills. Mainly forested land along the CT River. The focus of the hike will be on observing\, listening\, and noticing birds and nature in a relaxed\, enjoyable manner. This hike is more about connecting with nature\, appreciating birdsongs- behavior rather than just identification. I will invite you to participate in a 10-15 minute sensory awareness meditation (SAM) at the start. After the SAM\, we’ll walk 1-2 miles to explore several places throughout the park.    Recommendations: wear sturdy footwear\, Dress for the weather\, bring water\, binoculars\, and/or a smartphone with the Merlin app downloaded. \nI’m a dog lover\, but no dogs on this hike.
