Celebrate the one year anniversary of the WalkCT.org launch with the 100th walk featured on our website. Enjoy an interesting guided walk at the beautiful Pigeon Swamp Preserve, a property of the Joshua's Tract Conservation & Historic Trust. Learn about Pigeon Swamp's natural qualities, historic features and stewardship of the property as volunteer leader Richard Schleicher guides us along the paths. Explore a variety of habitats at the preserve, including marsh, forest, and old pasture.

Directions:
From the junction of Routes 32 and 203 in South Windham, go west on Main Street. Turn left just past the blue firehouse onto Pigeon Swamp Road. Travel about 1 mile to the end of the road. Parking is to the left.
