Use Caution During Hunting Season
If you plan to be out enjoying trails in the fall, please use caution, stay on the trail, and wear bright clothing. Hunting is permitted on private lands (with the signed permission of the landowner), on most state forests and wildlife management areas, and in some state parks.
Detailed information about hunting seasons, public hunting areas, laws, and regulations is available in the annual Connecticut Hunting and Trapping Guide, which is available at all town halls and on the DEEP website.
