
Advocacy
Every year since 1897, CFPA has provided Legislators with an "Agenda for Connecticut's Land and People." Recent priorities include the following:
- securing adequate funding for the Forest and Park programs of the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP);
- supporting programs/funding that support working forests and agricultural lands; and
- protecting compatible uses of hiking trails.
